Our Story
Kishora Vidya Bhavana as a fledgling stepped on its first rung way back in 1972, a dream and brainchild of late Sri.M.C.Anjaneya Reddy, Founder President under the aegis of Chintamani Educational Society. It started its journey with a handful of students and minimum infrastructure. Late Sri. David Horsburgh was the architect of Kishora Vidya Bhavana. The seed of education was sown and today it is a matter of pride that it has grown to a huge tree, providing quality education to thousands of students and also the bread and butter of hundreds of teachers.
A never giving up attitude by the management and heads of institution, who have involved themselves with dedication and devotion has made it possible for this institution to rise to great heights.
Sri Chowda Reddy the President of the Chintamani Education Society is a charismatic personality, ever smiling and an extremely kind person who shows keen interest in the progress of students. We now have a young, energetic, hard working and well educated personality, Dr. M.C. Sudhakar as our Secretary, whose vision is to take this institution to the level of international schools. We solicit the patronage of the public to achieve this goal. Sri.G.N.V Swamy, who is the treasurer has been rendering his valuable and yeoman services for the upliftment of this Institution. Mr.Sirajulla Baig, the Principal and over-all incharge has been running this institution smoothly with utmost diligence, discipline, punctuality and integrity.
Forty two years of an educational institution is no mean task Magic or miracles cannot happen in the building of an institution. As a sapling or a child has to be nurtured with lot of care and love, so is the case with an institution. Sri Ramanan, as the Captain of the school, steered this ship for about 16 years with skill, hard work, vision, selflessness and magnanimity. Good planning, suitable infrastructure, quality teaching by dedicated staff and the commitment of each every person belonging to this divine institution has taken it to great heights and the strength of this institution from Nursery - High school has grown to about 2500.
The School endeavours to develop and chisel a holistic personality integrated with ethical values, confidence to face the challenges of globalisation as "Knowledge is Power". It also believes in instilling self discipline and inculcating moral, secular and civic values. Keeping this in view, Moral science education is introduced to develop the personality of a child with necessary values. General knowledge paves the way to carve a niche for themselves in this competitive world.
Winning a number of laurels at the District level in Academics, Sports and extra curricular activities proves that this is one of the Prime Institutions of the District. We have an unbeaten record of 100% in S.S.L.C. Exam from 1982 to till this date.
